POSITION TITLE: Embroidery Machine Operator

JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for producing high quality embroidered designs and logos for various types of garments. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate a multi head Tajima embroidery machine using standard safety procedures.
• Correctly identify correct hoop sizes to be used for each job.
• Must be able to correctly identify the proper backing, needles and thread to be used for each job.
• Must be proficient with Windows and associated software.
• Properly output digitized files for production on embroidery machines.
• Input digitized files onto embroidery machine and properly designate color sequences for each individual design.
• Maintain machinery in good working order.
• Keep a running inventory of all stock and supplies.
• Maintain an organized, clean and professional work area.

QUALIFICATIONS

• One year embroidery experience preferred, but not mandatory. Training will be provided from a very experienced operator. Good enthusiasm and aptitude to learn a must.
• Digitizing experience a plus.
• Must be computer knowledgeable and willing to learn to be proficient in various software programs. Background in graphics a plus.
• Must have strong organizational skills 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to work on your feet for 8 hours per day.
• Must have good vision to be to be able to thread needles on embroidery machines at an efficient rate.
